Blankstairs was an independent record label that I co-ran from 2013—2021. It was started in Portland, OR and operated between Portland and NYC from 2014—2021. Over the course of its existence I established and developed its branding and personally handled all design elements in both print and digital realms. Given the wide-range of music that we released, I focussed on developing cohesive designs and a visual language that uniquely tied all of its output together, whether it was a LP release, cassette, digital, or book, I've relied on uniformity and consistency to holistically present the label's identity.
