Severed Mercies is a personal project where I developed a creative platform that functions as a record label to release my own work under a myriad of aliases as well as various collaborations.
The artwork across all releases emphasizes physicality and form where functional data is put on the same plane as conceptual imagery to create cohesive compositions and an overall unified aesthetic that is heavily influenced by my religious upbringing. Using a limited set of tools, the packaging for each release is created by hand, primarily using a Xerox machine, with the desire to re-contextualize the boundaries of limitation.
